Uber always keeps trying for new ways to optimize its operations to increase revenue and market share. Uber tried Auto, Wifi, free shots in bar, free ride to home, free ride to venue, ice-cream, harley davidson test ride, super car ride in Chandigarh, april fool joke with ferrari supercar dummy and many more offers. Some offers continued for long time, some gets suspended. Here are few suspended services..

UberAUTO service suspended in Delhi
Uber started UberAUTO service in Delhi region to compete with Ola in India, but its the first time. But Uber has paused its auto-rickshaw service in Delhi. Called UberAUTO, the feature represented one of the car-hailing app’s attempts to localize to the Indian market. It launched in April and competed with a similar service from Ola.

UberWiFi suspended in Hyderabad

UberWiFi suspended in Hyderabad
Uber launched WiFi enabled cars in Hyderabad in association with Airtel 4G and other cities but now I don't see any car with WiFi device on my map. I confirmed with one of the Uber driver to know the status, they also don't know why they WiFi have stopped.

UberBLACK suspended in Hyderabad
Earlier Uber Hyderabad stopped UberBlack service in and they have increased UberSUV rates to Rs 20 per km which caused massive drop in UberSUV booking. One of my long known driver has stopped running for Uber, now taking outside booking via contacts to pay EMI and personal loans taken for purchase.

I see Uber Mumbai is still has option to book wifi enabled car, they are also very few in number. May stop anytime. Let us know in comments if any service in suspended in your city.
